Surgery and Playboy

 I got my wisdom teeth out today! Ouchies! All four at once, with one buried sideways in my jaw with a big pocket of infection around it.

I’m SO relieved to have them out.

 

Today has been very calm, I got home around 11am with 5 different prescriptions in hand, took a little nap and tidied up around the house a little once I woke up. I’m doing just fine, taking ibuprofen and have some stronger stuff for later if I need it, but so far I’m really surprised that it doesn’t hurt. My mouth just tastes like soap and is numb from the nose down - drinking things is very much like Tim Allen in Santa clause movie when he gets botox for the cruise!! Lol!

 Now I’m watching “Girls next door: season one” and eating a frappacino I door dashed. I wish you could be here!! I am so fascinated by this show- you probably actually knew about it when it ran, I was obviously too young to see it. It’s about the Playboy girls and what their lives were like in the mansion. A podcast came up recently with Holly and Bridget so this week on my long drives I binged that and really enjoyed their stories and personalities. Then I figured out they actually had a show years ago and here I am.

It reminds me of you and makes me miss you! I wish you could be here with me laughing at this show and at my puffy cheeks and numb face. I wish I could door dash you some good junk food and at least SMELL it while I’m stuck on soft foods!! Lol. Maybe that’s not the type of day you would think was fun, but I really enjoyed as a kid and teen when we would take a girls day together or spend the evening watching a show :) I really don’t ever do that any more.

Anyway, wish me luck with this frappacino! Let’s see how much of it I can end up wearing 😂
