Playing Aspen

 Do you remember how you used to “play aspen” and decorate the house with aspen things and kind of theme outfits and activities and stuff around it?

That was fun.

Sometimes I do that. 

Or if I want to try a new outfit but I’m not sure if I’m confident enough I just “play” whatever character would wear that outfit and I’m a little more confident.

The fashion lately is very late 80s early 90s, so I got some chunky white tennis shoes (!!!) and some tall white socks (!!!!!!!!) and have been playing Gen Z. Lol! It’s so stupid but it’s fun. 

This summer I put in dreadlock extensions into my hair and played edgy hippie granola mom (that was a really fun one that I’ll probably revisit). 

Last year I played soccer mom because Lydia played soccer. I might play soccer mom again this year, she seemed to really enjoy it :) 

It’s fun to play these little games. I’m glad you started me onto doing this for myself.
